R.I.P Tamils National Leader Velupillai Prabhakaran ♥ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBHygi3K_i8&feature=related From the age of 16 you fought for the Tamils freedom. Now, at the age of 54 you were killed in battle. Selverasa (LTTE national spokesperson) confirmed that you were dead. We refused to believe it when it was announced on the 17th of your death because it was coming from the Sinhalese. But we heard the news just a few minutes ago - we're suffering, and dying on the inside. 37 years of fighting, even when the world labeled us as terrorists, you fought against all the odds. Regardless if the Sinhalese were a majority, and we were the minority, you still fought, and even after China, and India, gave chemical weapons to the Sinhalese. We had no one - no country supported us, but every country supported the Sinhalese; most people would be terrified, they would probably drop their arms and surrender. But you never did, you stood by the Tamils and fought till the end. The Tamils all over the world, will never let your dream die out - ever. Millions of us - we promised we'll get Tamil Eelam for you, even if it means all of us go back there and fight. They say Tamil Tigers are over, but until all the Tamils in this world are wiped out, the Tamil Tigers will never be gone. Like all the Tamils are saying, the world can label all of us Tamils in Canada, UK, USA, France, India or any other country, as terrorists, we don't care anymore. I'm sorry that the international community failed you, I'm sorry that us Tamils couldn't do more, I'm sorry that though the other countries saw the news, had evidence that the Sinhalese were using chemical weapons on the innocent Tamil civilians, they didn't step in - they left our people to be killed, when they were
innocent. We're hearing it more and more on the radios, and news that our relatives back home are being raped and killed, it just makes us want to fight for the Tamils back home even more. Your name will never be forgotten, we'll carry out your name for generations to come.
And like I said it a thousand times, it may take ten years or longer, maybe even less, but
We will get Tamil Eelam.
I promise.
May you rest in peace ♥
